In the United States, the school-to-prison pipeline is the disproportionate tendency of minors and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds to become incarcerated because of increasingly harsh school and municipal policies, as well as because of educational inequality in the United States. According to statistics 31% or more African- American male students are arrested at least once by the time they reach the 12th grade.
Where Does Change Start?
In society, there are always things that we want to change. We want Justice, We want equality, We want more….. But the real question is how do we get the things we want the most out of life? It starts with YOU. We have to start with ourselves and become more proactive about the things we desire most in life.
Changing The Community
The Pipeline to Success is here to help change the community that we live in. The reason this is a very important factor is because society will label our youth as being “ A product of their environment”. This stereotype has to stop. Many successful individuals come from a rough up-bringing, but it does not and should not define who they are.
